Small Groups

Small Groups are a traditional way to build working relationships in our church. They take many forms. There are limitless possibilities. What’s important is they build faith and transform lives both within the group and outside of the group.

Open Doors! Explore how we welcome and serve local communities and our overall mission and ministries. Learn about our pastor, leadership and staff.  We are all about encouraging open minds, open hearts, and open doors!

We encourage you to engage with us.  We are always looking to extend what we can offer to reach out to our local community and beyond.

Welcome to the United Methodist Church of Santa Cruz (UMCSC)
We are a Reconciling Congregation.
Whoever you are, and wherever you are on your journey of faith,
you are welcome here!

As we “Shelter In Place”, we are providing services mostly on line. Please join us for Zoom Worship on Sunday mornings at 10:45; visit our “Latest News” Feed on this website for updated information.

We have Zoom Gatherings for morning and evening Upper Room Small Groups, and an evening Centering Prayer Small Group.

We continue to offer on-site service to our Shelter Program on Friday nights, and nightly care for a limited number of spaces for the Safe Parking Program. These services are a program sponsored by the Faith Community Shelter, as part of our commitment to those who are unhoused at this time.

If you have questions about any of the above programs and events, links to participate in any of our current online programing, prayer requests, general questions about our ministry, or desire to explore your faith/spiritual journey, please contact Pastor Jay through the Contact Dropdown Box located in the Header on this website.

Thank your for exploring the United Methodist Church of Santa Cruz! May you and those you love, remain well in this time of Sheltering in Place with Covid 19. Our healing prayers are with you and all the world.

Peace, Pastor Jay
